Patterdale x dachs? A midnight liason ??

So pleased you have found a new soul mate, Boots wouldn't want you to miss out on everything that a loyal dog brings to our world. Good call !

Correct on the Patterdale - Dad is pure Patt, but Mum is terrier too - possibly Wheaten and JRT or Staffy too somewhere along the line?

Perfect little dog! How about Patterdale with some Staffordshire for the brindle marks? I don’t know what terrier breed has that coloration and he looks like a Patterdale. How big will he likely be?

Correct on the Patterdale - Dad is pure Patt, but Mum is terrier too - possibly Wheaten and JRT or Staffy too somewhere along the line? I think he'll end up around the 10kg mark so not dissimilar to Boots or maybe a bit bigger but not much I don't think.

No vaccins I hope? He””ll make an interesting placebo group member in that case proving the safety and efficacy of

No Poison!

No of course not! Boots never had any either. Motley has met a couple of dogs already - making use of maternal Abs if necessary whilst he's got some and whilst his own immunity builds.

Wonderful news. My folks have just welcomed a 10 week old English Springer Spaniel. Breeder had already given 1st jabs but has been raw fed. Now to persuade them not to do 2nd vaccines 🙏

Well maybe that's another article right there. Thanks for the heads up on those. It's mad isn't it. There's only so much you can keep abreast of.

Motley is all teeth at present and I need to find something he can chew on safely between his RMB meals, other than my hand/wrist/arm/ankle/finger(s)! He is learning to be more gentle most of the time.

I think most of his toys are hand-me-downs from Boots that survived the total kill and dismembering offensive in his latter years.

Kong toys and Jolly bones if you can get them! I froze all natural peanut butter in the kong for a wonderful soothing teething toy for my last JRT. The Jolly toys are an American company but you probably have something similar available. What a wonderful little terror he is! Absolutely gorgeous.
